From a young age, I’ve always wanted to be an event planner. The idea of taking an empty space, paring it with a vision, and creating an entirely new setting captivated me. I desired to take an important moment in someone’s life and escalate it against an inspired backdrop. Over the years I gained insight from the best in the business, learning from Hollywood A-List planners to the top- rated coordinators in the bridal world. After graduating from the University of San Diego with a degree in Communication Studies and Marketing, I entered the Hospitality field working weddings and events for a historic San Diego hotel. Armed with years of experience and insight, my inner entrepreneur brought my own dream to life and founded Simply Gorgeous Events. As an avid traveler, I collect my inspiration from places all over the world. Paris taught me the enchantment of lighting and romance, while Italy’s Amalfi Coast showed me how to capture the senses with vibrant colors and bold décor. Each city has its own unique smell, taste, feel, and mood mixed together from the culture of the people; I believe events should be the same. It is a beautiful thing when a career and passion come together, and my vision is to watch this company grow through that passion and relationships. I value the importance of building a strong foundation of communication with my clients so they are always comfortable throughout the planning process and feel free to express their own distinctive creativity.
